  Brazilian Grand Prix Summary The Brazilian Grand Prix has been the most entertaining weekend of the season by a mile. At Friday Qualifying there was history as American team Haas  won qualifying for the first time in their history after 8 years in the sport. At Saturday Sprint Race Mercedes got their first win of the season and at the main race British driver George Russell managed to win for the first time in his career after more than 110 races.  This race also had the most overtakes and most pit stops of the season, the most incidents and position changes, but the main talking point was created by Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez  who got into a radio argument for disobeying team orders.  What are team orders and how will they affect Red Bull? Las Vegas Launch Party This past weekend Las Vegas Grand Prix organizers through a launch party in the middle of the city to celebrate the new addition of the race to the Formula 1 Calendar. The first race will be held in exactly one year and it will be the first ever night race in America. The launch party was extremely glamorous as it had car show offs with neon lights under the cars, an expensive drone show in the sky, and guest appearances by some of the most popular drivers Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Sergio Perez.   Max Verstappen Breaks Win Record  This past weekend Max Verstappen won yet another race at the 2022 Mexican Grand Prix, increasing his win total for the season to 14. With this win Max Verstappen became the first Formula 1 driver in history to reach 14 wins, beating Sebastian Vettel’s record of 13 set in 2011. Max Verstappen has a chance to extend his record to 15 with two races remaining in the 2022 Formula 1 calendar, races which will be held at Brazil and UAE. The historic season Max Verstappen is delivering has also come with a lot of debate, he has been extremely dominant over the competition, which has led to some people speaking on the how this is all due to the car and that Max wouldn’t have done it against harder competition or driver a weaker car. United States Grand Prix Summary The United States Grand Prix brought a new record crowd attendance of more than 440,000 fans. It is the largest sporting event in American history. The race was one by Max Verstappen as usual, but he had a lot of competition this time around with both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc on his toes for the whole length of the event. We also witness one of the biggest crashed in the history of the track, where Fernando Alonso was sent flying into the wall. Fortunately everyone is ok. Logan Sargeant to drive for Williams During the weekend American Driver Logan Sargeant drove for Williams during the Free Practice on Friday, he did this because teams are required to give young drivers and potential rookies opportunities to test the car at least twice a year. United States Grand Prix is Here!

United Stated Grand Prix 2022 has finally arrived. After months of waiting Formula 1 finally returns to the North American continent to Austin, Texas. The United States Grand Prix has always been characterized by its over the top attractions and guest celebrities appearances, from DJ Shaq to Matthew McConaughey. The 2022 USGP promises to yet again be the top spectacle of motorsport in America. Many athletes such as Daniel Ricciardo claim COTA is one of their favorite circuits on the F1 Calendar. When, Where and What? The race weekend will be held at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas on October 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Friday will consist of practice sessions and concerts, Saturday will have practice, concerts and am exciting qualifying session where cars show off their maximum speed, and Sunday will be the main race event which begins at 2:00 local time. Context goes back to 2014 During the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix Formula 1 experienced its most recent death, French Driver Jules Bianchi lost the control of his car during a safety car procedure and he crashed into a crane, his car went below it and he was transported to the hospital by helicopter where he was pro nounced death moments after arrival. This crash was a turning point in Formula 1 Safety, the rules were completely changed for the better and engineering was taken more seriously and new technology like the halo was invented, which has saved countless lives since its implementation. What happened this weekend? Last weekend Formula 1 returned to Japan after a 3 year absence due to covid, and we almost witness the same catastrophe at the exact same track, only 8 years later. 2022 Singapore Grand Prix This past weekend Formula 1 raced at Singapore, the first of the final stretch of races in the Formula 1 calendar, Sergio Perez managed to stop Max Verstappen’s 5 race win streak and won the race. One of the biggest characteristics of the Singapore race is that it is known to be the hardest of them all. The Singapore Grand Prix is the longest race, has the most physically demanding corners, and on top of that it is the hottest race of the calendar, temperatures reach up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit inside the car for the majority of the race. Extreme Temperatures Thanks to extreme temperatures, drivers often have a harder time focusing because they have to deal with extreme fatigue, on top of all the challenges, this race faced a lot of rain, which caused multiple crashed and led to 8 of the 20 drivers to crash out of the race.
